The short version

LagosLifeGuide.app is a small, independent, read-mostly website. We do not run user accounts, we do not ask you to log in, and the planning tool stores its data in your own browser — not on our servers. The only data we receive is basic, aggregate analytics described below.

No accounts, no server-side personal data

Nothing on this site requires registration. We do not collect names, emails, passwords, or any other account data, and we have no database of users. Feedback you choose to submit (optional contact field aside) is used only to fix issues. If you email us at [email protected] yourself, your address is used only to reply.

Planner data stays in your browser

The First Week Planner saves your inputs and plans using your browser's localStorage. That data never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us, and you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data. Uninstalling or clearing site data removes it permanently — we cannot recover it because we never had it.

Analytics

We plan to add privacy-respecting analytics (Google Analytics 4 and/or Plausible) to understand which pages are useful. In general terms, these tools collect:

• Pages visited and approximate time on page.
• Approximate geographic region (country/city level) and language.
• Device, browser, and screen-size category.
• Referring site or search terms that brought you here.

Plausible is configured to be cookieless and does not track you across websites. Google Analytics 4 may use cookies and process data on Google's servers; see Google's privacy documentation for details. Neither tool receives anything you type into the planner, because that data never reaches us at all.

Feedback submissions

If you send feedback through the feedback button (bottom-right of every page), your message — along with the page it was sent from — is stored by our self-hosted feedback service and forwarded to the maintainers. It is kept only as long as needed to verify and act on the report, and is never sold or shared with third parties.

Third-party content

Pages may link to external game sites and sources (for example, the official game instance). Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.
